Start of the english blog

Hi there! I'm Elise, 16 years old and I'm from Norway.
I started writing this blog to get some practice in english. I already have a Norwegian blog on Blogspot.
The mainreason I started a blog here is because I'm going to England on an exchangeyear Autumn 2009. I will be there all year studying in English on an english 6th form/high school.
I really look forward to the year abroad, but I will also miss cooooold Norway.
Well, what can I tell you about myself than the information from before?
I live faar up in the northern part of Norway,and for you who doesn't know, Norway DOESN'T have snow all year. We do actually have summer too. hehe:o)
When I'm not spending time at school, I'm often with friends in town or round. My town is rather small, but there's always some desperate tries to do things. Bowling,cinema,shopping,film-evenings or just heading out and about are things I do in the weekend. I also love skiing, but I only like skiing Alpine(downhill-skiing).
I'm not doing any sports now, but I have done handball,swimming and football(soccer). I'm not the most sporty person, haha, but I don't mind some running.

My favourite subject is English, and it helps when you have a lovely boyfriend in England too :o) (and I do,actually). I have only been to England once, and loved it.
I a week my boyfriend will come to Norway again and spend the easter here.
It's March 27th today, and we got half a meter with snow out here, and more elsewhere like on the mountains. GOTTA LOVE IT :D :D

Hmm..Not sure if I will write alot more now, but if there's anything you'd like to ask, bring it on. I'm hoping to get a Host-family in England soon, and maybe I can contact some people round the area where I will be living.
